Private Parties and Table Bookings Terms of Use
As of 2nd December 2020 Southampton is in Tier 2 of Covid restrictions. As such you are confirming that your booking is with adults you currently live with or are in your support bubble.
During the time tier 2 is in place we will be operating as a restaurant and as such we can only serve alcohol with substantial meals. As always our guests will be able to order food from our friend’s at Browns Town Jamdown Jerk Sauce Co or alternatively a subsidised meal.
Arrival:
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your booking. If you have not arrived 15 minutes after your booking start time, your booking will be cancelled.
Please ensure you have finished your drinks and are ready to vacate your table 15 minutes before the end of your session.
Deposit:
To secure your booking, you will either need to pre-order and pay for some items, or we will need to hold your card details for an amount of £5.00 per person. If we hold your card details, no money will be taken unless you fail to turn up for your booking or break the booking terms.
Orange Rooms requires full payment of the deposit at the point of booking to secure your booking. Only once full payment of the deposit has been received your booking is confirmed.
Payment for your deposit must be made through our online booking system via credit card. Links for payment are within the emails received from our booking system.
Minimum Spend:
If you have a minimum spend in place, any balance that may be due for the minimum spend is required to be paid by the end of your booking. If you have a space or table booked with a minimum spend, a tab will be set up for you containing the value of your minimum spend. Any balance left on your minimum spend is non refundable. Once your tab has been used up, payment for all drinks is required for each drink order.
Payment for your minimum spend can be made by cash, debit or credit card at the venue.
Cancellation:
Purchases from the Orange Rooms website are non refundable unless they are cancelled within 48 hours of the booking date. If purchases have been made for the wrong date or time, if there is availability, we will aim to accommodate a date or time change if there is availability on a different date and time. If the desired change of date and time is not available, we will provide alternative dates or times. If these alternatives are not suitable, then the original purchase is still applicable.
If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the booking date, and you have made a deposit payment, the deposit is refundable. If you cancel your booking after 48 hours of the booking date, the deposit is not refundable.
If payment has been made for any other items such as DJs, security, decor etc is made upon booking, those items may be refundable depending on the date of cancellation. The refundable elements will be confirmed upon cancellation.
Bottle Purchases:
Bottles from our gins, vodkas, tequilas, rums, whiskey and bourbons, vermouths and liquor/miscellaneous bottle menus include unlimited carafes of Vimto, Energy, Lemonade, Cola, Diet Cola or tonic, or 6 cans of Red Bull.
Over 18’s Policy and Right of Service:
The Company operates a strict over 18’s policy (however we can cater for under 18’s subject to prior agreement and further terms and conditions being adhered to). Orange Rooms management reserves the right of service and admission at all times.
Dress Code and Conduct:
You shall be held responsible for ensuring your guests observe the relevant dress code for any function. Orange Rooms reserves the right to refuse entry by guests whose attire contravenes the relevant dress code.
Our dress code is smart casual. No jogging bottoms or tracksuits.
You shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of your booking and shall ensure that nothing shall be done which may constitute a breach of the law or in any way cause a nuisance or be an infringement of or occasion or render possible forfeiture or endorsement of any license for the sale of alcohol or for music and dancing. Failure to do so shall entitle Orange Rooms to require the offending individual(s) to leave the venue and shall constitute a breach of these terms and conditions.
Damage:
You will be responsible for any damage caused by your guests during your booking. This includes any bought in additions such as performers or DJs. Unreasonable amounts of clearing up after a booking shall incur a charge based upon equipment and labour costs. The minimum for such cleaning up will be £150.00. Any physical damage to Orange Rooms will be charged for in full and estimates for the work will be provided.
Orange Rooms does not accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, or destruction of property however caused.
Decoration:
We have a strict no decoration policy at Orange Rooms. This includes no use of confetti and/or party string, tape, blue tack or any other adhesives anywhere. If used, please reference the damage paragraph above.
You are allowed to:
- Use floor weighted balloons/helium balloons but nothing should be fixed to the walls.
- Provide decor on your tables available within your booking.
